About Us

Agency

We are a non-profit organization, providing immigration assistance and deportation defense services to detained and non-detained immigrants.

We also serve immigrants applying for permanent residence, permanent residents applying for citizenship, family reunification, asylum seekers fleeing persecution, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), NACARA, visa applications and renewals.

Like those who came before them, today's immigrants invigorate the economy and enrich our culture, traditions and values. Yet, they face labyrinthine statutes, rules and regulations, multiple layers of bureaucratic intimidation and an increasingly insensitive political climate fueled by nativist feelings.

Immigration Legal Services of Long Island, a nonprofit organization, is proud to represent these courageous newcomers and their families, in all areas of immigration law. In return, our peers consider us the preeminent immigration not-for-profit agency in Long Island and beyond.

Crafting pragmatic, cost-effective solutions, and ensuring that our attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff and volunteers, embrace the highest ethical standards, ILSOLI has earned an enviable, unparalleled reputation as a not-for-profit immigration agency. Our goal is to educate clients and inquirers on U.S. immigration law and procedure, while providing cutting-edge expertise on the law and its applications.

Through effective representation, ILSOLI makes it possible for our clients to realize their American dream - of integration into the economic and social fabric of the United States.
